No. Their music doesn't have anything to do with the accusations against them. Well, maybe R Kelly's does, I don't know many of his songs, or much about whatever he did.

Are you at all familiar with the accusations against both artists?

I like certain songs from both of them. Judge away.

Not really, dh likes Michael but not exactly a fan. What he did had nothing to do with the music he made, you know?

So many famous people have done horrible things. No one would have any fans at all if we all judged their work by their personal lives or accusations against them.

I still cry during MJ songs!

And... bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce! Lol!

I don't like the chance they might have done something, but you can't help when songs are awesome!!

I don't know who R Kelly is. I also think if Michael Jackson was truly guilty someone would have pressed charges and he'd gone to trial. Judge away.

I assume that they've just separated the art from the person and they appreciate the artistry.

It sucks but sometimes the art we love the most was created by less-than-savory people (and that's putting it nicely).  I experienced a similar disappointment in a former favorite author of mine.  I still love her books, but I can't recommend her work anymore without a disclaimer that the author was actually a terrible person...
