Do you play along or pretend they don't exist in your child's mind?

My middle son was the only one to have an imaginary friend. I never really played along.

One of my sons had two imaginary friends.  We played along.

They were very real to him, or so it seemed.   He was so detailed about them!

My four year old has an imaginary puppy named Chica. But it's actually my one year old son. We feed him treats lol

My kids don't have one. I did though. Mom played along. Her name was Cindy.

My kids don't have one, but my DS pretends that he is making YouTube video when he plays his video games. I always ask him: Who are you talking to? And he always answers: Myself :-). It's our Saturday morning routine now.

They haven't really had any. My son says he sees "beads" though. He describes them as glowing balls of light. I believe him.

My kids don't have imaginary friends. They do pretend their stuffed animals are alive. The only time I don't really play along is if they try to "blame" something on the dtuffed animal, "I didn't hit him...penguin did!!" Yeah, that doesn't fly. And they can't sit at the table with us while we eat.
