I'm going on a cruise this weekend, we're leaving Sunday. I'm going with three other friends, two who are a couple and a single guy. The guy and I are sharing a cabin. We literally grew up together, he lived next door. We shared an apartment in college. we've been friends since we were toddlers. He's gay and nothing romantic has ever or would ever happen between us. We're just best friends.

My mother in law knew I was going on the cruise but found out today that I'm sharing a cabin with a guy. She flipped. Immediately went to my husband and told him. He of course already knew and told her that it wasn't a big deal. She hasn't shut up about it since she found out. I got a call from my sister in law (dh's sister) asking why the hell I was cheating on her brother and how long it had been going on. I can't wait until this weekend! One week of no contact with this woman!!

You all can go back to 1978. Then bitchy MIL can't do anything. Neither can SIL.

I would tell them it's only cheating if your the only one in the marriage involved and since your not the only one it's ok. Have fun on your trip.
