I am so tired of going to the ER to be told nothings wrong etc. My youngest had croup two weeks ago was getting better then got an ear infection and then caught a cold. He has went numerous times the past week because he keeps turning blue around his mouth. Well he keeps having coughing spells and needs his treatments for that tonight. The children's hospital is a hour away which is where I would take him because the local ones don't seem to care
then on top of that I feel like I need to be seen. I keep on getting sob. But now I keep waking up with my heart racing. Then getting really lightheaded and feeling like I'm going to pass out and like I can't breathe. So now I am sitting here because it is helping but also scared to sleep.

Then you need to have DH or someone drive you and the baby to the children's hospital

It sounds like you're having a panic attack. Which can do some very weird things to.
Even though, I would still get checked out, you and baby.
On here nothing short of dying is ER worthy to most of these women.
I hope you and your son start to feel better soon.

Have you bothered making a follow up appointment with your sons pediatrician or are you using the ER as primary care? The ER isn't going to help you. They are there to keep you alive, patch you up and send you on to follow up with your PCP or the correct specialist. Have some camomile tea for your anxiety.

Yes he was actually there on Thursday and then his Ent on the 29th. Talked to his pulmonologist over the weekend. Only one that seems concerned is his Ent....
