About 10 days ago I burned my finger. I was taking dinner out of the oven. I didn't realize my oven mitt had a hole in it and the oven grade got my finger pretty good. This is what it looks like this morning. Is this normal? Dh said it looks infected. Idk! It is very sore to the touch. Around the scab is thick feeling red skin. Is this normal healing for a burn?

Update:
As you can see from the 4th picture my finger is in fact infected. I had to go to the doctor and have them clean it out. They put me on antibiotics and gave me topical cream.

It looks very red.  Does it look worse than a couple days ago?

Looks pretty normal to me. But it could be a bit infected. You may want to visit your dr.

Looks good to me. It's supposed to be a little red. It's not infected. Is it weeping? Smell?

It's infected. I would put raw honey and a bandage on it.

The red part is the size the burn used to be. The red part feels thick. The entire area is sore, very sore. It hurts to old a fork or spoon, pencil or pen ect. Anything brushes it it stings done to the bone to the point my eyes water. What concerns me is the red ring that is starting to form around my finger itself. You can see it in the last pic.
