Im sending dd to preschool. Yes she does need it. Not learning wise but social reasons. I moved to a new town the good part. But the other town that preschool is in (just a 5-15mins drive ) is an okay town but the part that the center is in is a bad part. Sure they have security for the building ect but I'm worried about bus transportation security . I don't drive btw. I'm asking my questions today when I go in for a meeting. I'm just venting right now.

This is the only center that services this town

I feel much better after the meeting. They have security around the building. Cameras ect. Buzzed in the building. She won't be riding an actual bus. It's a van with carseat and security is on the van as well.

I would never put a pre-school aged child on a bus without me.  I would also never have children that I couldn't transport, so there is that...

What about looking into a different preschool in a safer area?

Not an option. If you live in my town you go to that center

3 and 4 year olds can ride a bus alone? Also, if you don't drive, how are you getting to the meeting?

I wouldn't put my child in a risky situation. That should be common sense.

I wouldn't send my child to a school that I didn't think she would be safe in.
