Would you move to hawaii

To be a teacher? I've read that outsiders don't get treated well, teachers get paid very little, and the kids don't want to be there. So you'd be poor and have a hard job..but in HAWAII.

Would you do it?

No. Hawaii is just as expensive as here and twice as far from my family, and I'm already nearly 3,000 miles away from most of them. 

EDIT: Coming from someone who lives in a beatiful coastal city that tourists flock to all year long....it is NOT worth it if you have to struggle.

I lived there pre kids when my husband was stationed there. We were there for two years.

No. For a couple reasons
The col there has to be huge I would assume
I'm not a fan of heat
Dog the bounty Hunter lives there and his wife's boobs scare the Shit outta me

I lived on Oahu for 10 years. I don't even joke about moving back because I know DH would move in a heartbeat but I hated it so much, I'd never even go back on vacation.

Nope.We live in a very low COLA and would not choose to live somewhere we would struggle.
