I'm a dog trainer, I have had people who expect me to train their dogs and not lift a finger but they usually join in after me asking once. this woman in my last class last night? nope...brought a fold out chair, her tablet, and headphones, and watched a movie leaving her dog tied up to her chair. he learned the commands but he was listening to me, not to her. so I said "ma'am, would you like to join in so Drew can understand you say the commands?" she told me to just do my job and leave her alone.

I went on with the class and asked her again if she would like to join in, she cussed at me and told me to do my job....I kind of had enough of her at this point and said, "ma'am, I'm not going to be living in your house, if you want your dog to learn anything YOU have to participate". she demanded her $200 back, I ignored her until the class was over. when I said I was not giving her money back she called the cops saying I robbed her.

after the police came she still didn't get her money back.

Wow! We never had anyone that bad in class. I think I would have given her names of people that take the dog and train them for the owner and then give them back. That seems to be what she wanted.
