Our peds office is closed for the day, so I'm here to ask for help. My youngest daughter was outside playing and my oldest daughter noticed this on her arm. My oldest said when they were playing 2 days ago she saw this but it was smaller and black and blue. I just put some Mupirocin cream on it, but I'm wondering if I need to go to the ER or not for this.

****UPDATED*****
I'm assuming it's a spider bite because I've been seeing little spiders all over my house lately.. We will be taking a trip to urgent care shortly.. You ladies rock. Thanks.

Looks like a normal spider bite to me.

It looks like it's healing already. I would mark it with sharpie and wait, if it grew I would take her to the er if not I would wait until the doctors office opened.

I would either go to urgent care or the children's hospital ER.

This. I'd also keep an eye on her for fever, lethargy, anything like that.

If this was my child, I would have been already at the ER. Keep us posted.

Unless it is hot to the touch or she has a fever, I wouldn't go to the er for that.

MAYBE urgent care....maybe
