Mil tends to do that baby talk and not use full sentences with my 1 and 2 yo. It's very annoying. I had my dh talk to her because our 2 yo still babblers a lot, but ia starting to talk more. Now I noticed she does it when I'm not around. We don't really get along so I don't say anything. I want to tell my dh to say something
It's very annoying.

In the grand scheme of battles, I would probably let this one go.

Let it go if you and others are talking to them normally is not a big deal or going to make a difference.

That would bug the shit out of me. We didn't baby talk our kids it stifles their speech development.

You had your dh talk to her already and want him to do it again? If she isn't around much then this may be one of those choose your battles situations. If she cares for them a lot or has them often then maybe explain the benefits of not doing baby talk with children learning to speak.

There are bigger problems in life. This is not something to get your panties in a bunch over.
