Why is it illegal to pump your own gas in Oregon ?

Adults all over the rest of the country are perfectly able. Why does Oregon think it's residents are not capable of this?

What???? I've never heard of that.

I don't know a single place that will pump your gas for you.

I dunno but it pisses my husband off to no end. He travels a lot up the coast for work and he refuses to buy gas there.

Oregon isn't the only state. It's part of job creation plans in those states. It's really not a big deal.
