I live in a nyc highrise on the first floor. I read many times that palmetto bugs dont infest but ive killed five this morning and one yesterday. Where the hell are they coming from?!?! I need suggestions. ..my kids are scared shitless in the house. Im scared too its only a matter of time before I wake up and one is falling from the ceiling on my forehead!!

Where do you think they are coming in from? All my windows are closed this is just a normal apartment.

I think they call those roaches in NY.  they're palmetto bugs in FL.

Palmetto bugs or roaches? They do infest silly. Call the landlord or property management company.

No, they have roaches and palmetto bugs in Florida. Palmetto bugs look like massive roaches.

So gross, but unfortunately very common in NYC.

Roaches are small like the German cockroaches. ...these are the HUGE ones that are two inches long.

Ask the landlord to have someone come out and look.

Iv found lady bugs in my son's room. Don't mine they don't go into his crib and not bother while it's nap time. But we also found three wasp in our home also. Dh has has to spray it.
