My husband is adopting my kids from my first marriage.
Our adoption date is May 4
I have had this date for 3 months.
I found out that my youngest has standardized testing.
I've talked to her counselor and she assured me that she can make the tests up.
For me, we're going through, we're going to court.
But a teacher, who was a friend before she started teaching at our school, feels DD should be at school takin tests and we can move our court date.
As I said, we're going to be at court.
What would you do?

Ignore the teacher. Being adopted trumps testing....

I talked to him first, the principle, he referred me to her counselor.
The counselor is going to have he take one test the day before, and the other on make up day!
My true feelings after all we have been through, is to keep this date!!! It's important!
