I'll look it up really quick, but I think that's around 2nd or 3rd grade reading level

It means "meets," as in meets expectations.

We don't use a letter system. They use some weird number system and if you're child hits the highest mark for that grade then that is their score even if it's higher. My son is in second grade and his teacher told me that she believes that he is on a lower 9th grade reading level. I love to read and he inherited that from me. Hope you find out what m means!

A letter M would depend on which scale... but it's at about a 7 or 8 year old reading level

That is end of 2nd grade reading goal. My son is level M too and in 2nd grade. 3rd grade stars at M ends at P. 4th starts at P and ends at T. 5th starts at T and ends at V.

Level M is small chapter books like The Magic Treehouse.

It's probably LLI. Second grade.

I just got the email with the F&P scores plus his lexile score. F&P was M but his lexile score was 650-675. I am so confused about the differences. Is my child reading ok for a 1st grader

1 mom liked this

He doesn't read those. He prefers the I survive series and The Hardy Boys series
