Feeling petty

My ex was abusive to myself and my kids. My kids and I left in the middle of the night with next to nothing and never looked back. He's been on probation for the past 9 months and hasn't been allowed to contact me. Refuses to pay child support. He's finally off and calling non stop wanting to see the kids. I'm refusing to let him until a judge forces me to.

I've been really good about never checking his Facebook. Absolutely refused to all year, but broke down tonight after a nasty phone call from him and looked at it. Every other post is about how I'm nothing but a deadbeat mother and how he's such a sad, devoted father who was robbed of his children.

I'm trying hard to take the high road, but a passive agressive bullshit post on my Facebook would really make me feel good right now!

I imagine paying child support would be a probation requirement.

I deactivated my old fb the night I left and was still friends with him at the time. When I logged into it tonight, I was able to see everything

I would just ignore him. You know the truth.

There was no mention of child support when he was convicted on a domestic. It has only been ordered he pay for 2 months now, but he promised he'll never pay it

Oh. That makes sense.

Look, if no one in life has questioned you or brought this to your attention, it's not worth you fussing over. You have way more to worry about than others' perceptions of you.

I am, but I still have that angry ball in the pit of my stomach and wanted to vent somewhere other than fb.

I'm not going to. That's why I'm venting here instead :)
