I woke up to a text that said

"Good day I believe this is *insert my name*"

"Bank Name:
Bank Address:
Bank Phone Number:
Account Holder Name:
Bank Checking Account Number:
Bank Checking Account Routing Number:
Account Holder Address:
Bank Toll Free Number:
Date of Birth:
Account Holder Cell Phone Number:
Mothers Maiden Name:
ONLINE ACCOUNT ACCESS
Online Account Username:
Online Account Password:
Online Question and Answer"

O.o
Out of curiosity I asked who it was, I got a reply back
"Good day, I hope you are doing great! I am Stewart Young i am the Director of Employee Compliance of ( Photonix Solar Pvt. Ltd), I am contacting you in regards of your resume posted , Let me know once you get this..."

When I checked, I did apply for 2 internship positions with them.... but I'm not providing all of that info, especially over texting!

That sounds like a serious scam. Why would they ask for bank numbers, usernames, and passwords??

I would block that one.   Not only is this a scam but internship companies would never text you.

I would call and let them know you received the text so they are aware that those are going out. If it is from them, let them know you're not providing that.

I would be placing a call to the HR of the company.

Call the company tomorrow ask to speak with the gentleman, explain about the text to see if he sent it and then tell him the needed info .

Yeah sounds like they may have posted this "job" to try to use as a ruse to collect information and are using the "company" as a cover.

Have you looked up the firm?
Is it legit?
