Fertility treatments..

The mother of identical triplets claiming they are a result of fertility treatment. Um, last time I checked there are no treatments that cause a zygote to split. I'm pretty sure that splitting can only occur naturally.

I think there is a somewhat higher chance of splitting with IVF, though.

Lol! I missed her saying that, but you are correct. Fertility treatments result in fraternal multiples. You can get identical twins and a fraternal third, but identicals are purely chance.

Splitting can occur naturally after implanting. Octomom only had six embryos implanted I believe and wound up with eight babies.

Yes, but the fertility treatment had nothing to do with it.
