It felt so good to say no

Background: SD is 15, dh has sole legal, visitation is 50/50. Bm is always dropping her responsibilities when it comes to the sk and then dh or mostly me, have to pick up the slack. Which I do because I love my sk but somethings gotta give lol

Sd has a softball tournament this weekend. She's with bm and the tournament is 2 miles from bm house (30min from our house). Bm was taking her, so I planned to spend a day shopping for my sister and friends baby showers. Bm sends me a text 30 min before sd game wanting me to bring froggy towels (cooling towels) to SD game for her. I told her that I wasn't going to the games, but I was going to the bank which is 5 miles from the game and I would meet her with them. It's been 2hrs and no response. Guess she will have to get some herself. It felt really good to not drop what I was doing so bm didn't have to be responsible for sd.

Good job! Especially because I'm sure she was aware of this before she got there. She should learn to be more prepared.
