Connecticut or New Jersey?

I've narrowed it down! I'm moving from NC. I don't care what anyone says. The state sucks. The schools suck and it's so hot that I'm seriously convinced that it's the hottest state in America (I know it may not be). The job issue is not an issue because I work remotely. Anyone live in CT or NJ that can suggest good towns with great school districts?

What's your price range? Renting or buying? How many bedrooms? What age are the kids? Do you need elementary, middle, high school?

Renting for now and probably for the next 3 years or so. At least 3 bedrooms. One child. 5 years old.

I would never move to Jersey. Connecticut is nice for the most part. Why those two?
