does anyone find this odd

my children have a meet the teacher thing soon...but they come to everyones houses and call you before hand? that's so weird and personal. 


* they said it's new this year. I don't know if anyone will decline. I may

Me I would tell teacher how about we meet at your house, I'll bring the snacks.

Our school did teacher nights. Each family would invite the teacher for dinner.

Why not parents meet the teacher at open house like normal people?

We had it, it's really just a way for the government to gain access to your home and do child welfare checks.

We had to do that fir first grade and kindergarten. Then they stopped it.
