I don't know what to do..

Our company insurance ended in July 29th due to transitioning under a new company. We will have new insurance provided starting September 1st. The problem is my 2 year old I suspect has an ear infection. He didn't sleep last night, threw up today and says his nose and ear hurts. I don't know my options for getting him health care right now. We don't qualify for income based clinics because our income is too high. What can I do or where can I go to get him care?

Take him to an urgent care clinic and pay out of pocket.

You should be able to to Cobra in between. Other than that, take him to the doctor or urgent care & pay the bill.

Call his pediatrician's office, identify yourself, and ask them what the out of pocket cost is for a visit. If your pedi is anything like mine, he's going to want to see his patient and will work out a fair price.

Don't text and drive.

Mini clinics in CVS and Walgreen's are reasonable.

I know about COBRA... honestly, her best bet is to just pay out of pocket at his doctor's or an urgent care.

COBRA is insane expensive.

We don't have mini clinics in ours unfortunately. They are in the process of building one in the CVS though.

Yes it is. I'd rather pay out of pocket.
