My petty confession

Years ago I paid 4500 for a wedding gown. Now I want to kick myself for paying so much, but I was young and infatuated with the perfect wedding image. It was kept at my grandmother's house in her closet. Kind of a family tradition. I had to push my wedding back a year because my fiance was getting deployed on our original wedding date.
My cousin wore my wedding gown to her wedding without asking me. I did not find out until she came out of the dressing room. I demanded to know what the hell she was thinking. She said she would pay for the dry cleaning. I took a glass of wine and tossed it on the dress and walked out.
There were screams and cries and a lot of angry calls when I got home.
In her wedding photos they took a white fabric and wrapped it around the bodice. It looked bad. I have never regretted my decision.

I don't blame you, if that really happened it was really shitty of your family.

I can't even blame you. She'd be out of my life permanently for that stunt. What the hell was your family thinking?

I would have ripped the dress off of her. She didn't ask to borrow it.
