This damn thing

We've had a mouse for like a week now. We bought a few of the mouse traps that are circle, you pull this strip back underneath and put bait, close it, set it back upright and place it. Nothing. These have been out for 4 days. Last night, dh got some new traps and placed them as well. They are the ones that are like the original wood ones, but they're plastic and you lift a little flap to put the bait in. We've been using peanut butter. NOTHING! He is still here, we see him occasionally. He normally hides behind the refrigerator or under the stove. What is it going to take. I told dh it's time to bust his ass; move the things out that he can hide under. He said that the mouse would likely run right past us and out of the kitchen. Understandable. Ughhhh, this is so frustrating. We aren't used to rodents, as you can tell. Lol lol

I'm telling you with 100% certainty and experience, if you have one mouse, you have several!  They are never alone.

I'm trying not to bring ants in the process. Should I be okay if I put fruit out?

My little ninja kitty could take care of that in about 2 minutes if you want to borrow her, lol. She's super fast and tiny. She can fit anywhere!

Because they die a slow death from dehydration. :(
