Would this be a deal breaker for you?

I started seeing a guy about a month ago, he's seriously amazing so far. He's sweet and funny and his bills are paid, he's got his own house and car and goes to work everyday. I know, I've got low standards right?
Well last Saturday he took me to a concert and we had a great time, we get back to his place we are kissing and hands start to roam.

He stops abruptly and informs me that he might have an std and that he has a doctors appointment to figure out what's going on.

Turns out he has chlamydia. He got it from a girl he had unprotected sex with before meeting me.

Would you break it off?

That's true I guess. I just think it seems immature to be having sec without protecting yourself.

No, he was honest, and it was curable. I would probably wait a bit longer and see what the relationship really was.

no, I would give him credit for telling me that he might be infected and for taking steps to get it checked before having sex.  If he had been a real dog he would have kept his mouth shut and did whateevr he could get away with.  I am a big fan of STD profiles before engaging in risky behavior... even better, taking whatever steps are available to protect from unwanted disease...

Its treatable. Wouldn't have sex with him though until he is treated.

Probably because then I have to wonder what kind of women he's been sleeping with.

No.... but I would slow it down.  He was honest and up front.
