I need to solve #9. I'll upload pics in the comments. I have the answer from the back of the book but I don't know where the last two answers are coming from.
I'm getting the {0,2} but not the rest.

*I want to get this now and move on. I can't get online to use the tutor and they're always slammed. My apps aren't getting the full answer either.

Update: got it! Thanks ladies.

Here's the section of the book that teaches how to solve this type of equation.

I took pre algebra in 7th grade, intro to algebra in 8th, algebra in 9th algebra 2 in 11th. In college I tested into remedial algebra and had to start all over!

You'd think I'd have a handle on it by now, but I DON'T, lol!

From wolfram alpha the solution only has two real answers.

2x^4-16x=0

2x(x^3-8)=0

2x=0

x=0

x^3-8=0

x^3=8

x=2

I get the same answer you do.
