Was trying for plum to cover the brown or whatever color it faded to on the ends
I have grey coverage, but not the color I wanted.

I can't have it done for at least a month while I condition it like crazy.
I don't hate it,just not what I wanted

Did they bleach it first? My niece tried dying her hair that's dark without bleaching it first and it didn't take. Her dad does it for them and it comes out better.

You need to get the Schwartzkoff one called Black Amethyst (or Amethyst Black).  It gives the most intense purply-dark brown color possible, and fades to a gorgeous violet!   My daughter had me do her hair with it, and it is stunning.  She's had her hair that color since July and we haven't redone it yet.  The color is still very vibrant!

They sell it in Walmart, at least by me they do.

It took when she did it. I just don't have the skill
I won't bleach
