Looking for FREE ideas.

I don't have friends, the ones I do we never seem to be able to meet up because of kids nap, school or activity schedules.

You could always take classes to freshen up on your grammar.

I just hang out with my friends either at their places or mine and let our kids run around the backyard.

You can go to the park, church, play groups, YMCA, swim classes, community activities, etc

Same here. Our kids also have impressive Lego collections and plenty of stuff to do inside while we play cards.

we do go to park, library, YMCA is not free, swim is not free, community stuff is not free - well except for holidays, I currently don't go to Church.

We have a free play center near us that I go to a lot and there's a lot of familiar faces to chat with. We also go to the park pretty often and I sometimes talk to moms there if they aren't buried in their phones. I don't really have any friends up here so I just sort of get by on pleasant little chats here and there. It's not ideal, but it's what I have.
