My son was going through the lunch line at school, 8th graders eat last and by the time he made it up to the front of the line they told him they ran out of food! Wtf?!? Has this ever happened to your kids before?

It happened to me in high school once. Luckily they offered me to use the salad bar and not pay any extra.

I would have been livid if they didn't figure something out.
Did they give him food? You are missing some bits of information here.

Was he the last one in line or where there other kids they told that to as well? Did he tell you how they fixed the problem?

That happens at the local high school all the time. Or the long is so long lunch is over before a lot of kids get food and they have to go back to class without eating

It was him and like ten other kids behind him that didn't get to eat. I don't think they did anything to fix the problem.

Nope no food! You would think they would have a back up plan in case something like this happened but they did nothing to fix the problem

Not that I know of but they have a habit of charging the wrong lunch account and then kids go to the line the next day and then they say there is no $$ on the account
