Crafters, I need your help!!

My sister is a very crafty kinds of person (well, we both are!). We do stockings for each other and I always put a "crafty" kind of gift together for her- something for her to do. I've done henna and tools for henna tattoos, supplies for quilling and felting, and an adult coloring book one year.

I'm drawing a bit of a blank this year. She knits and crochets already. A sewing machine is above my budget. I'd like to keep it under $50 or so.

Any ideas for an adult craft/artsy gift?

If she's a knitter I'd say knitting patterns or knitting pattern books, new knitting needles, other knitting essentials.

I thought about soap making but that would probably end up being pretty pricey. Candles might be a good idea, though!

If she likes to knit, why not more knitting stuff. Yarn can get expensive

Since she knits and crochets what about a kit to dye her own yarn?

I love getting yarn, but honestly I find myself liking the yarn but never using it. You kind of have to have a plan for it because projects need certain colors in certain weights and certain amounts.

Chalk paint- like Annie Sloan but you can find more affordable brands on Amazon. Two colors and a brush. S little goes a crazy long way.

For my daughter one year I bought this

I filled it with all kinds of things:
Glitter
Buttons
Needles
Thread
Wax pencils
Small sticky pads
Little puffy paints
Charms
Ribbon
Etc

Edit- I got it a Kmart in the tool isle for around $10

get her one of those no sew blanket kits.

does she do any kind of paper crafting? you could get her a card making kit. check out stampin up. they have kits. you have to buy a stamp and ink to go along with the kits unless she already has that kind of stuff. or even see if the craft store has something like that.

stuff to make a wreath for her door

if she likes to knit and crochet find a kit or buy a pattern and buy her the supplies to make the project.
