I visited my friend in the country with shitty cell reception, closest store was the city I came from, too much land, too much grass, too much wildlife. Her new home is lovely but not for me

I prefer to live in the country within a one hour drive to the nearest city. Sounds like where she lives. Currently I liv in the city. I have never lived anywhere I have been genuinely unhappy with, and I have lived in city, country and subburbs

Not me, I love our land and the beautiful sunsets and sunrises and the peace.

I like my stores within walking distance. I don't need to try it to know I'd hate it, but I don't like living in houses either

It took me time, but I am now enjoying my farm house.

ETA: I meant to say, it took me years to even get the courage to live this far out. I also did baby steps.

She agrees but knew I'd like the house and hate the location. I like the noise and the cement

I hate the city now. Too loud, too polluted, too crowded, too much crime.

I hope I can have a nice little house in the country someday. Or a cabin near a lake. Yassss.

It would freak me out. Nothing about it makes me happy
