So rude

I was at a restaurant. Afterwards my dd, my mom and myself were going around town to the local businesses for candy. Okay so after we finish I get the stroller from the car and come inside (it's cold outside so I wanted to bundle her inside first, I wasn't in anyones way either). I have chronic health issues and I try not to squat down because I have a hard time getting back up. For some reason holding onto the table wasn't working to lift myself up so my mom of course helped me. This rude lady walked by and told me to lose weight and that wouldn't happen. I am not over weight or "fat". I'm a size 9. I have some meat on my bones and it shows. So yeah I'm not a size two or zero and even if I was I'd have the same issues. I just can't believe the rudeness of some people.

I was too shocked to speak. My mom said she was watching me the whole time.

Quoting jjessers: I have physical issues too.

I would have just laughed in her face

I actually want someone to say something like that to me. I got a lot of rage I would love to unleash on someone.

You should "thicken your skin".
People get stupid and nasty over the dumbest things .

That is a mean nasty thing to say, but think of how it must be to have to walk around with a personality that is cruel for no reason. I'd hate to be that way towards others it seems unhappy... One of my favorite HS teachers who I respected a lot ran into my mom and her best friend at a theater performance. The teacher only saw my mom's friend. Well she told her "You're so overweight it disgusts me and I requested to have my seat changed" I'm not joking and I know it sounds like some shit people make up, but it happened. My mom's friend was obese but she was far from disgusting. The summer after my senior year i was in a coma and my mom's best friend called in a favor to get a specialist to me, and because of that doctor I got surgery that saved my life. I saw the teacher a few years later she said hi that she was so happy to see me, and asked how I was doing. I just told her that I had no interest talking to someone as cruel as her - She didn't know why I said it - she stood there like the dumbfounded ass she was, and I walked away. I hope it bothered her for just as long as it hurt my mom's friend who btw got gastric bypass and has been a healthy weight for the past 5 years.
