How long would you wait?

DH's boss asked him to stay after his shift today so they could talk. DH's shift ended at 6:00 a.m., his boss said he wanted to meet at 6:30. DH waited an hour for him to show and he didn't. He tried texting and calling him several times and was ignored each time, so he left.
It is now after 9:00 and his boss JUST texted him, asking where he is and is PISSED he isn't there. Uh, you were supposed to meet him almost 3 hours ago and weren't responding to your calls or texts. People don't just have hours to spare, waiting around. Especially when they just worked 8 hours and need to get some freaking sleep.

Your hubby goes to sleep after working 8 hrs?
Is he night shift? Totally unreasinable for his boss to expect him to stay 3 hrs to wait. Your husband has family responsibilities.
At 6:30 I would have texted him saying- need to head out in 10 if I dont hear from you ASAP- Let me know when you want to talk. Ill be back at (start time tomorrow).

I'd probably say something to him if he was acting like a fool. I'd wait around 15 mins if he didn't give me a time, and then I'd be leaving.

Yeah that's not cool at all. Any update on what the boss said or did? What was his GRAND excuse for being 3 hours late and then got mad at him?
