So angry with my aunt.

My aunt takes my kids during the week a lot which I am thankful for. But what hurts and upsets me, is stuff like today, my kids had a program at school and my aunt kept the paperwork and didnt even bother to tell me about it. I could have gotten off work today and just worked tomorrow.

Shes closing me out of everything and it bothers me. Those are MY babies, not hers, and I missed their first school program, because she chose to hide things from me.

I have sole legal and physical custody, she doesnt even have a power of attorney to handle anything for the kids.

As of today Im looking for a different job, that way I dont need her to help me. Im not happy at all.

8 and 6, they never had these programs at their old school.

That was quite mean and thoughtless of her.

So from now on, well at least till you find a new job, ask them to tell you about these things. Also my kids school sends out mass emails. Maybe you can ask each of their teachers to email you this information since she hiss it from you.

But yea I'd be pissed too

I sent her a message saying simply that I wish she had told me about the program.
