Am I going to be fined?

I had Tricare for six months out of the year. I applied for VA health care in May but it wasn't processed and didn't start until September. I didn't go to any doctors and in the event of an emergency I could have gone to the VA.

I think you're okay given you had Tricare for six months.

I believe you're allowed 3 months of not being covered. But depending on your income and so forth you may see a small fine.

The majority of my income is non-taxable. I am a 100% DV. I was rated in March.

Then I would think you fall into the exempt catagory for hardship. Might be an extra form or two however knowing the government lol.

I hope you are okay.  The penalty for non coverage is so illegal
