My husband spends 440/month on cigarettes. No wonder we're so broke all the time! He needs to quit!

What would you do to help him quit?

Take it from me, he won't quit until he is ready. Will power and chantix
If that's not enough.

Oh my, that's a lot of cigarettes.

DH quit by using one of those vape things. He looked like a douche, but he stepped down the nicotine over a few months and quit.

Tell him you get to frivolously spend as much on yourself as he does monthly. I'm gueessing he wouldn't like that very much, especially since you guys are already financially not doing well.

I don't know. Maybe you can ween him from them like a binky. Paint the ends of his cigarettes with something bitter.

You could start controling the money so he can't spend $440/mo on cancer sticks!

Have him to go a doctor and get a RX for a smoking cessation medication.   My friends have sworn by some medication, but I can't remember the name.

Do you do anything he doesn't like? My dh hated that I drank diet pop. He says it'll kill you. So we made a pact, I switch to regular pop and he quits smoking. I help up my end and he's weaning himself off.

Nothing will work until he is ready.

Start a new hobby together, maybe get him chantix or something similar as a start? I've never smoked so my advice may not be great.
