I'm being forced into being anorexic *update*2

I've been really sick for the last couple months...can't stop vomitting doctor is still trying to figure out why. But I feel a little bit better if I don't eat or drink, I even stop throwing up. How long can I go without eating/drinking before I have to worry about dehydration? I'm walking a fine line because vomitting profusely when I eat or drink could make me dehydrated too.

Any tips or helpful advice would be nice.

No I'm not pregnant, I don't have a gallbladder, and I do have meds for nausea they just aren't helping much.

UPDATE- Called the doctor, she moved my appointment to tomorrow. And I see the specialist the 15th.

UPDATE 2- Specialist just called, they got my records, and they don't accept my insurance. CRAP! Called primary care to have her refer me somewhere else.

Have you tried marijuana for the nausea? It works wonders, much better than the medication they give you for it and none of the awful, possible, side effects.

I have somewhat the same issue. I eat and my stomach hurts or its up in my throat feeling like I am gagging.

I don't eat and I feel tons better.

I don't have my gallbladder either. All this started when my gallbladder went bad. I have never had a normal meal since it was removed.

And I am super skinny.

At this point wouldn't you be in the hospital in iv's for dehydration and lack of nutrients?

Wow I hope you can get better soon and the docs figure out what is wrong. Have you ever tried medical marijuana? It helps a lot of people fight nausea and vomiting, and stimulates appetite.

What nausea meds? Are they oral or suppository?

I've been in and out of the hospital for dehydration. Just trying to avoid going  back.

Have you been checked for ulcers? I dealt with thus same exact issue for years. Turns out I had horrible ulcers. They were surgically fixed and now I'm all better.
