Babysit his two year old Monday-Friday from 2:00pm - 6:00pm. That's alot of money for just 20hours a week. Do you think the kid is bad?

**Update
We meet tomorrow, then Tuesday we're doing a test run.

I don't know, but I'd definitely do a test run first before committing to that much babysitting. Have him over for a few hours one day before you actually accept the full job, and see how he behaves. Then you'll know if it's a reasonable deal or not. I wouldn't agree until I knew for sure the kid wasn't horrible. I hope for your sake that he's a sweet, well behaved child.

Even if he was bad, I'd whip him into shape and take the $300.

$15 an hour is pretty much going rate for regular childcare.

Thats around the standard rate in our area for child care. If its not the norm in your area, the is probably the spawn of satan, lol

That sounds about right. And I could handle a little brat for that too.

Same thing I was thinking.

I would have the kid stay at your house for a couple hours before you committ.

Maybe he's just willing to pay for good child care services. Or maybe his kid is the Devil tell him you want to meet with the kid to make sure all of you click before you actually start keeping him. I would at least give it a shot.
