My kids all have "ghetto" names and yes, we live in the ghetto.  Two of my five kids have different fathers than the other three.  I'm applying for SSI for two of my kids for speech delays and a lazy eye.  I work part time as a cashier at Wendy's and I'm fine with that.  I get SSI myself for bipolar disorder to make up for the lack of income.  And yet guess who's having a big Christmas?  My kids.  Judge me.

You don't need SSI for a lazy eye.  LOL

I personally don't care how others choose to live their lives.

But, I personally despise being on disability. Yes, it's legitimate but I much rather be independent. Maybe one day.

Hopefully they get approved and I'll keep trying until they do.

When Wendy's pays me more and I get more in food stamps then maybe I'll reconsider but with speech delays, a lazy eye, and chronic asthma I think I have a chance.
