my ex was livid with me because I'm a surrogate for my friend. I'm around 15 weeks right now and told ds at 12 weeks. he never asked questions so I thought he didn't really care. well, he asked my ex if he was getting a sibling because I am pregnant. my ex called me livid saying is a pos for telling ds anything....like I can hide the belly already popping out.....so when my ex dropped ds off, right in front of him I sat down in front of ds and said "you know I'm not having a baby sibling for you right?" he asked who the baby was for and I said the baby was for Lily. he asked why and I asked him if he remembered that Lily had heart issues, he said yes and I said carrying a baby could hurt those issues. he said I was a nice mommy and that was that.

why was that so hard? I would really like to know. my ex knows my friend has heart issues, he knows why I agreed to do this. yet its soooooo hard for him to do what I did in less than a minute. smh.

I think you are awesome for doing it and I'm sure your son will have more navigating to do but you sound like you've got this.

It's your situation, you are the one who should explain it to your kid.

1 mom liked this
Then her ex should have just told their son to ask her instead of calling her up yelling. He was way out of line and ridiculous.
