Do you cry when your kids cry?

Do you? I'm not talking about a fit throwing cry, but when they are truly upset. Because, I do, and my dh thinks it's nutty.

Not usually.  When my son was suffering after his surgery I did though.  That was rough.

Your husband seems a bit nutty to me, lol I cry when they are upset, I cry when they are hurt, I cry when they cry for the sake of crying.

It really depends, overall I'd say no.  There have been some really heartbreaking things my poor daughter has had to deal with in her short 8 1/2 years that have affected us all and I've on occasion cried just seeing her heartbroken and crying, or laying in a hospital bed crying out in pain ... not sure how you can't cry with that one.

I do not. Usually I try to comfort them. If I get any sort of negative emotion, it is because they are crying because someone has been mean to them, in which case, I get mad, and fantasize about being mean to the person who made my kid cry.

When they were smaller I did when I was overwhelmed.
