Resting heart rate

My fit bit says my resting heart rate is 60 that's seems very low

That isn't bad. Mine is usually in the 60's.

I'm overweight I thought over weight people have higher heart rates

I was told by my doctor normal adult resting rate is between 50-100 bpm. But it is kind of the higher end of normal.

The more fit you are the lower it is usually. Mine is 55ish

how over weight are you mine over night would drop to 52 etc, i'm over weight. my sitting watching tv was around 70 and my walking etc exercise was around 125
