I am in a bit of a rut with books. I just finished a series but don't know what to read next. I read pretty much any genre. What was the last book you loved?

I recently finished The Girl on the Train.

I'm currently re-reading the sixth Harry Potter book.

Some of my personal favorites are:
City of Thieves by David Benioff
Vamped by David Sosnowski
Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Harry Potter (of course)

Lynn Kurland  start with A Dance Through Time for time travel romance.

Don Coldsmith start with Trail of the Spanish Bit for a western from a Native American perspective

W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear start with People of the Wolf for pre historic Native American historic history

Jean Auel start with Valley of the Horses European prehistoric history

Tim LaHaye · Jerry B. Jenkins start with Left Behind for apocalyptic Christian series.  Based on Revelation.

The best book I have read recently was The Secret Place by Tana French. I am currently reading Grace Burrowes romances. She's put out 65 in 5 years or so, so I won't run out anytime soon.

I love, love, love the People series by the Gears. I started reading them when they first came out. I think People of the Owl was the last I read. I will have to go look for more. I also love Jean Auel. I will have to check out the other two.
