...just for today because it's my birthday and I want to get stuff done and have some peace and quiet???

Because I don't think it's bad....

My kids never just sat in front of the tv for long periods of time, but if it works for you, go for it.

You are a horrible parent. There is no excuse to plop your kid down in front of the tv just because you wanna get Shit done. I don't care if it's your birthday

YouTube is way better

Happy birthday

How you are doing it, you are fine.  Don't feel bad at all.  I used to strap my little ones in the bouncy seat and put them in front of Baby Einstein videos while I took a shower and got dressed.  TV is great for getting a little bit of time to yourself.

As long as you don't go to the extent of The Cable Guy then you are good.

Happy Birthday! Enjoy your day!
If they'll sit and watch and give you some peace and quiet then go for it!

Yeah, they're not really. It worked for a little while, now they just keep following me around 😐
