Gone are the days of PB & J๐Ÿ˜ž

Although I've never been a fan of peanut butter myself, I miss the days when lunches were extremely easy. They grow into teens and have more adult like pallets and meals are a little more involved.

Edit: because someone will comment on me feeding a teenagerโ€ฆ I am making lunch because my teen is ill. I don't want him in the kitchen spreading his germs.

Your 'edit' was funny, it was very true and accurate as well.

My preteens still eat pb&j.

Hope your child gets well soon.

My teenager still loves it. He is picky on his jelly though. Right now we have my dads home made jelly, otherwise he likes raspberry or blue berry

I make my teenage boys their food most of the time because I'm territorial with the kitchen. I've taught them how to cook a few things but it's the only place I'm super neurotic about cleanliness and method so it takes a lot out of me to relax and not act like a total control monster in that area. Nothing else makes me act that way but I just can't stand it if I see someone doing something (I think) is gross in the kitchen. MIL made brownies and licked the bowl about 50 times... I was at her house so I kept quiet, but it seriously made me want to cry even though I don't eat chocolate. My husband was dying laughing because he knew it was killing me. ๐Ÿ˜

My youngest 2 are 6 & 9 . They don't like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Never have.
Actually, neither did/does my oldest who's 24. Lol

I have my two oldest 12 & 8 help me cook a meal once a week and they have to make their own lunch.
