I refuse to let anyone blackmail me. Ever.

Dd7 spent the night at my aunts house with my little cousin who is 1 yr older than she is last weekend. They typically get along well. Both are drama queens but they still seem to click.

I just got off the phone with my Aunty. She told me about a situation she had with dd. Apparently, cousin told dd that if she didn't let her wear the pink cat tail, then she was going to tell her mom that dd took an extra cookie after dinner the previous night. In response, dd called out "Aunty!!! K is blackmailing me!!" My aunt was pretty shocked to hear this word being used by a 7 yo child. So she asked dd to define blackmail. Dd gave a text book definition. Said, yes, I took the cookie, I will admit that. Punish me, that's fine. I refuse to let anyone blackmail me. Ever.

We had a good laugh over this! Kids kill me!

Dd is a sponge so whatever she hears sticks.

I have to say I was quite proud of how she handled her situation! lol
