Mommy Vacation

I have 4 children ages 3-10. I am married. I own my business and I go to school full time. I am always busy and sometimes it's just to much for me. I feel the need to get away alone for 2 or 3 nights. Ishe it horrible if I take a mommy vacation? I just need me time. Is it terrible? I haven't talked to the husband about it but I might tonight.

I don't see a problem with it as long as you arrange for the care of the children if it would interupt his life.

When DS was 3, my friend and I did that and it was awesome! We rented a nice hotel room, ordered room service, drank lots of wine and relished being kid free.

I would go alone. No hubby. No kids. No friends. No family. Alone(I have no idea what that will be like)

Well yeah. Why is a husband's time not important. I don't know about your family but ours takes both of us to run it.
