He's a mechanic. He was working on a Snap On tool truck and one of the jacks malfunctioned. The truck tipped with one side going all the way to the floor and one side coming down nearly all the way. Luckily, he was not under the side that went all the way down, but the truck fell across his chest. (I think the gas tank or oil pan) Part of the truck came down on his right hand and completely severed his pointer finger (can't reattach) and mangled his middle finger. He goes into surgery today. They aren't sure if they can save it. His chest and back are bruised completely across. The pressure caused a hole to tear in his lung and caused all the vessels in his eyes to burst. Luckily, about 5 other mechanics were there to jack the truck off of him. They were bending bars of floor jacks because of the weight. He was on a creeper. So, they got it up just enough to pull him out. He couldn't take in any breaths at all from the weight. The other guys said if he had been on the other side, he would have been smashed in half.

Unbelievably scary. :(

Pictures of the type of truck to imagine the weight.
