You have a family member staying the weekend at your house so they can attend an event in your area.  They are staying 4 days, 3 nights.  You provide dinner and snacks while they are home.  On their last morning at the house you and your guest go out to breakfast - who pays?

I would assume separate checks unless someone offered.

I would think that would depend on who the family member is, but I'd say probably seperate bills..

If they have manners, they do to show their appreciation for your hospitality....

The host. If you don't want to provide for guests then don't host them.

I would say the guest should but separate checks is ok as well. The host shouldn't foot the bill.
