We've had a tremendously shitty year. No details, but it was pure stress and crap. Last night DH says he wants to go out to dinner tonight. Problem is, my kids are small one has serious issues and we have NO ONE to take them, so they would have to go with us. I just KNOW they will go nuts and ruin it. But if we don't go DH will be disappointed.

Would you go anyway?

HELP!!!

Go somewhere that has tablets, or a Mexican restaurant that's loud and fast.

Applebee's and Buffalo Wild wings have tablets.

Yes I would go. Try to find somewhere that is kid friendly... get some pizza, beer or glass of wine, try to enjoy not cooking.

I'd go. Go to a family restaurant. You know, the type thst gives the kids cookies at the end of the meal.

Maybe go to a buffet? That way you can get in, eat right away and leave without waiting for everything and your kid will not have time to get antsy?

Would your DH be okay with the idea of ordering in or picking up some food from a nearby restaurant?

1 mom liked this

With that kind of attitude, it will go bad. It's not even a month into the new year. I would focus on being more positive. With a better attitude, it could actually go alright and you could have an enjoyable evening. I would go for sure.
