While the United States of America has a state named Georgia it is not the only Georgia in the world. Though it may be hard for some to grasp there actually is a country named Georgia.

I'm from Europe (Belarus) and the state comes to mind first for me as well.

The state comes to mind to me as well but usually you can figure out immediately when a news story is about the state or the country.

I don't like states that have cities named after a different state. Something like Kansas City, Utah, for ex.

I get really saddened by the average lack of education IRL. Everyone should know that America isn't a continent, that we're connected to Canada, the 3 branches of government, the difference between the bill of rights and the constitution, how to do basic math without a calculator, the difference between there, they're, and their...things like that.
